Beyond the day-to-day operation of a certification service, NASAA is involved in:
- Providing information and advice on organic issues;
- Representing industry through event participation and speaker representation at international, national and regional events;
- Supporting well-needed industry research and development programs; and
- Developing and maintaining relationships with national and international organic bodies.
As a not for profit community based company, NASAA Membership funds assist the organisation to grow its capacity in representing the interests of NASAA licensees, and the Organic industry in general.
Applying for Member status enables you to have a greater say in the future direction of the organisation; keep in touch with the latest news and information relating to developments in the organic industry, both at home and abroad; and access Member discounts rates on advertising, and related product incentives.
Membership is open to anyone supporting the aims and objectives of NASAA and is a status, which is quite separate from the certification process; it is not necessary to be a Member of NASAA to be a NASAA certified operator, and vice versa.
